Reading Explorers Program
In the summer of 2011, PSI, IMCI and other corporate sponsors created and executed a six-week, full-day, reading camp for children (grades kindergarten through 3) at Oklahoma City’s Edwards Elementary, the district’s lowest-scoring school for reading proficiency. Pivot provided extensive services for the program including concepting and designing the creative theme, coordinating on-site and off-site activities (including weekly field trips), building a robust website, procuring media coverage and developing collateral materials such as flyers, signage, videos, PowerPoint presentations, forms, certificates and children’s activity materials.
